Heavy metals from the natural and artificial environment can be stored in the body’s tissues and interrupt or contribute to cellular dysfunction and disease. The term “heavy metal” can assume different meanings throughout different branches of science. In the health and human optimization sphere, we use the term to define groups of metals or metalloids associated with toxicity. Some of these metals serve essentially no purpose to human metabolic activity, while others are vital for physiological pathways but display toxic storage levels.

Steps to Detoxifying Heavy Metals
- Switch your cookware to stainless steel
- Find a dentist to remove amalgam fillings
- Fix your cells
- The key to fixing cells is going to enhance the cell membrane, which is made of fat. Abiding to the Advanced Plan eating will allow this to take place, but it does take on average 4.5 months of strict advanced plan eating to fix damaged cell membranes. Eating the advanced plan also decreases your exposure to glyphosate, and research has shown that glyphosate allows for heavy metals to penetrate deep within tissues.
- Supplemental support
- Max Living has partnered with Bio Ray to create the Heavy Metal Detox Protocol, to learn, schedule a consultation in the office.
To learn more about the toxic burden society has placed on our bodies sign up for the Spring Cleaning workshop April 20th.
