The Master Gland
July 18 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
The thyroid gland directs many of the body’s processes including growth, metabolism, and development. An under-active thyroid, called hypothyroidism, does not produce enough hormones and slows down your metabolism. There are many symptoms, but some that are more common include fatigue, sensitivity to cold, muscle or joint pain, and depression. About 90% of hypothyroidism is Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the thyroid gland. Hyperthyroidism, or an overactive thyroid, is when the thyroid gland makes more thyroid hormones than your body needs. Symptoms vary but include nervousness, fatigue, erratic heartbeat, and mood swings.
Come to the event seminar to find out how your Thyroid Gland affects your hormones and how to keep it in check through the Five Essentials.
